Hi! My name is Saurabh, and I'm a Product Designer II on the Finance Platform and Citrus Design System at Paylocity. Right now, my main focus is bringing Airbase and other acquisitions into the Paylocity design family. That basically means cleaning up component inconsistencies, setting up unified tokens, standardizing patterns, and making sure the experience feels seamless across desktop and mobile.

I grew up in India in the early 2000s. I was that kid who spent hours glued to a clunky CRT monitor playing video games. I didn't have a big master plan to become a designer, but I just loved technology and screens. Over time, that fascination grew into a simple belief: tech is only good if it's easy to use. Sadly, a lot of software does the complete opposite. It gets so wrapped up in complex engineering that it makes normal, smart people feel completely lost.

 

So, that's why I do what I do! Fixing those messy systems so they actually make sense.

When I’m not working, I love running, traveling, and reading about history and art. I’m endlessly fascinated by the analog world, how physical spaces, old artifacts, and timeless art tell stories without a single line of code. It's also why I enjoy simple, tactile things like painting, board games, and building LEGOs.
